Jose Lopez Zarate

Jose Lopez Zarate has a diverse range of work experience in the field of SAP technology. Jose is currently working as the Principal Director - SAP Application Management Support - SAP on AWS Expert at Apiphani, where they focus on automating IT processes and providing career development opportunities for the team. Prior to this role, they served as the SAP Basis Lead at Apiphani.

Before joining Apiphani, Jose worked as a Senior SAP Basis Consultant at Lemongrass Consulting Ltd, where they had the opportunity to work with a global team of consultants specializing in SAP on AWS.

Jose also held various positions at Virtustream, starting as an SAP Netweaver Consultant and gradually advancing to the role of a SAP Basis and HANA Expert. During their tenure at Virtustream, they successfully completed the worldwide implementation of S4/HANA (SFIN 2.0) for a top customer in a highly compressed timeline.

Jose's earlier experience includes working as an SAP BASIS & HANA Tech Leader - Contractor at Dell EMC, where they contributed to defining limits in hybrid cloud implementations and successfully completed various SAP BASIS & HANA operations.

Jose also has experience as the SAP Technology Manager at Politec Argentina, where they headed the SAP Technology Area and handled SAP Netweaver practices. Jose also worked as a SAP Netweaver & Basis Consultant at Politec, handling customer needs, pre-sales activities, and generating new businesses related to SAP NetWeaver.

Prior to Politec, they held positions at Northgate Arinso as an SAP Portal Consultant, at T-Systems Argentina as an SAP Netweaver Consultant, and at T-Systems as a SAP Netweaver Consultant.

At the beginning of their career, Jose worked as a J2EE Architect at Gedas Argentina, where they integrated and created state-of-the-art J2EE applications for Volkswagen Argentina using various software frameworks.

Jose also worked as a J2EE Developer at Correo Argentino, where they gained experience in J2EE development.

Jose Lopez Zarate received their Licenciado en Sistemas degree in Ingenieria del Software from Universidad Kennedy, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, they obtained the Certificación Avanzada en Fintech from ITBA Escuela de Innovación in July 2021, and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021.
