Alan Nise

Alan Nise has worked in a variety of roles in the software and engineering fields since 1992. From 1992 to 1996, they worked as a Data Analyst and Modeling Specialist at Hal Taback Company. At Ortel from 1996 to 2005, they served as Digital Systems Group Manager and Senior Embedded Engineer, developing software and hardware for embedded control systems. From 2005 to 2012, they were President and CTO of Ion Storm Software, where they developed software and hardware for automated test stations used for manufacturing of optical transceivers. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Senior Consultant at Langfang Emcore Optoelectronics Company LTD, where they developed software capable of performing fully automated fiber optic transmitter tuning, RF and optical measurement, and alignment. Finally, from 2014 to present, they have been Lead Engineer and System Architect at APIUM Swarm Robotics, where they have developed the company's core swarm technology, as well as the software, hardware and embedded systems for robotic vehicles and the corresponding ground station.

Alan Nise attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 1989 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
