Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative technology solutions. Since July 2010, Chris has been employed at SMART Technologies, initially as a firmware engineer and currently as an electrical engineer, focusing on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior to SMART Technologies, Chris served as an electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation and held the role of teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Chris's early career includes work as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, specializing in control systems for the forestry industry. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
