Gert W. Riegel

Gert W. Riegel is the current Chief Operating Officer at Apleona Group. Gert has held this position since April of 2017. Prior to their current role, Riegel served as the Managing Director (CEO) of Bilfinger HSG FM IS GmbH from October 2010 to April 2017. Gert also served as the Managing Director (COO) of Apleona HSG GmbH from September 2017 to June 2019 and as the Managing Director (COO) of Apleona HSG International GmbH from September 2017 to June 2019. Additionally, Riegel has been with Bilfinger since 2004, serving in various positions such as Head of PPP / Bid Management / Consulting from January 2004 to October 2010 and SVP (Prokurist) from June 2008 to April 2017.

Gert W. Riegel studied civil engineering at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they received their Dr.-Ing. (Doctor of Engineering) and Engineer's Degree.
