Manoj Patel has an extensive work history with experience in various industries. Manoj started their career as an IT Technical Engineer at Best Pacific Institute of Education, where they upgraded computer systems for the organization. Manoj then worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Air New Zealand, conducting tests and procedures on aircraft machinery.

Moving into the technology sector, Patel worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Teknique, where they developed a CAN bus stack for a marine application. Manoj then joined Soanar Pty Ltd as a Technical Account Manager, focusing on growing business in the electronics B2B market across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.

Patel transitioned into the telecommunications industry as a New Zealand M2M Business Development Manager at NetComm Wireless Limited, where they built strategic partnerships and delivered communication solutions to customers. Manoj continued their career at Vodafone New Zealand as a Senior Business Development Manager, working on acquisition strategies for the Business Enterprise segment.

Expanding their expertise in data and analytics, Patel joined Experian Asia Pacific as a Senior Business Development Manager, helping businesses utilize customer data for enhanced sales and interactions. Manoj then worked at OriginID as a Client Director, leading digital on-boarding solutions compliant with government regulations.

Currently, Patel holds the position of Sales Director at APLYiD, where they oversee sales in the Financial Services sector across the ANZ region. Manoj previously served as Sales Director - APAC at the same company.

Throughout their career, Patel has demonstrated a strong aptitude for sales and business development, applying their technical expertise to drive growth in various industries.

Manoj Patel completed their Bachelor of Engineering with Honors (B.E (HONS)) in Electronics, Power Electronics, Embedded Hardware, and Communications from the University of Canterbury between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they attended Avondale College from 2000 to 2005, where they studied English, Physics, and obtained a CCNA certification.
