Carole Hodge, PhD

Carole Hodge, PhD, has extensive work experience in the field of clinical operations and project management. Carole is currently serving as the Director of Clinical Operations at Apnimed since May 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. starting in April 2022.

Before joining these companies, they worked as an Associate Director Clinical Operations at Heron Therapeutics, Inc. from September 2021 to March 2022, and as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Haisco-USA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from August 2020 to September 2021.

Carole also has experience as a Senior Clinical Consultant, having worked on their own as a self-employed individual from April 2020 to July 2020.

Earlier in their career, they served as the Clinical Operations Director at Concentric Analgesics, Inc. from March 2017 to March 2020. Carole worked as an Independent Consultant from December 2016 to March 2017 and as a Project Director at inVentiv Health Clinical from March 2016 to December 2016.

Carole has also worked as a Senior Project Director at PRA Health Sciences from June 2007 to December 2015 and as a Senior Project Manager at PPD from 2002 to 2007.

Carole Hodge, PhD, has a strong educational background in psychology. Carole obtained their Ph.D., MA, and BS degrees in Psychology from Michigan State University, where they attended from 1985 to 1996. In addition to their academic achievements, Carole has also obtained several certifications in various areas through online courses on LinkedIn. These certifications include "Getting Things Done," "Managing Your Time," "Succeeding in a New Job," "Proven Tips for Managing Your Time," "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers," "Prioritizing Your Tasks," and "Improving Your Listening Skills." The most recent certifications were obtained in 2020, with the majority obtained in July and August of that year.
