Carl Dambkowski

Carl Dambkowski has an extensive work experience, starting with a role as a Second Grade Teacher at the NYC Department of Education from 2007 to 2014. Carl then worked as an MD Rotation Associate at McKinsey & Company from 2014 to 2016, and as an Associate at the same company from 2016 to 2018. In 2015, they were a Co-founder of LIFEbubble and a Resident Physician at Stanford Health Care. From 2018 to 2022, they held various roles at BridgeBio, including Chief Medical Officer - QED Therapeutics, Navire Pharma, VP, Clinical - Navire Pharma | Chief Strategy Officer - QED Therapeutics, Origin Biosciences, and VP, Business Development and Operations - QED Therapeutics, Origin Biosciences. Currently, they are the Chief Medical Officer at Apogee Therapeutics.

Carl Dambkowski began their educational career in 2002, when they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Stanford University. Carl then attended Teachers College, Columbia University, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Education in 2006-2007. Carl then attended Columbia University from 2008 to 2010, studying Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies. Finally, they attended Stanford University School of Medicine and earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 2011-2015.
