Mark Nuttall-Smith

Mark Nuttall-Smith is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Apollo Agriculture since November 2022, Mark previously held notable positions, including Lead Developer and Team Lead at Flow Traders, where responsibility included the global rollout of a Kubernetes-based platform. As a Co-Founder and CEO of Gridarrow, Mark developed a multi-tenant cloud-native platform that streamlines real-time data into Excel. Earlier roles include Senior Developer at Optiver, where cloud architecture and big data engineering were key focus areas, and Senior Analyst Developer at HSBC, contributing to various internal tools. Mark began a career in bioinformatics at Inpharmatica, developing a human genome annotation pipeline. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Biology, both from the University of Leeds.
