Bryant Kearl has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Bryant began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they worked from August 2009 to June 2012.
After completing their graduate studies, Bryant joined SDC Materials, INC in October 2012 as a Lead Scientist. Here, they played a crucial role in developing applications for plasma-derived nanomaterials. Bryant led various projects involving novel nanomaterials for automotive catalysis, magnetic materials, near-field communication, printable electronics, 3D-printed materials, and bullet-resistant ceramics. During their tenure at SDC Materials, Bryant reported directly to the CEO and contributed significantly to the company's success.
In April 2018, Bryant joined FUJIFILM Electronic Materials U.S.A., Inc. as an R&D Metrologist and Chemist. Bryant was responsible for the development, validation, and implementation of analytical test methods for a wide range of instrumentation to meet the semiconductor industry's needs. Additionally, they played a vital role in responding to urgent customer and internal investigations, providing deep characterization of new and legacy Fujifilm products. Bryant's work at FUJIFILM allowed him to influence ongoing R&D and process engineering activities across several major business groups.
Currently, Bryant works as the Laboratory Director at Apollo Labs, a Cannabis safety and potency testing laboratory certified by the Arizona Department of Health Services. Since joining in February 2021, they have been instrumental in developing rapid, high-quality, and reliable analytical techniques for cannabis contaminant and efficacy analysis. Bryant was involved in building the laboratory from the ground up, achieving full state certification in less than four months. Bryant'sexpertise and contributions have greatly contributed to the success of Apollo Labs.
Bryant Kearl pursued their education in the field of Biochemistry. Bryant attended Arizona State University from 2004 to 2009 and received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Later, from 2009 to 2012, they attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biochemistry.
