Waqar Abdul Ghaffar has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Waqar started their career in 2004 as a Software Developer at E-commerce Gateway Pakistan Pvt. Ltd and later moved on to Millennium Software (Pvt) Limited as a Software Developer. In 2010, they joined eSoul Consultancy Services as a Software Engineer Level 2. Waqar then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Object Synergy from 2010 to 2011, where they focused on the development of TAXSimplifier.
In 2012, Waqar served as a Development Team Lead at Technical Art Concepts (TACME) in Dubai. Waqar then transitioned to SimpleTix as a Senior Architect (Remote for USA) from 2013 to 2016. During this time, they set up the architecture of highly scalable applications on the cloud and managed remote teams and vendors.
From 2016 to 2018, Waqar worked at Crossover for Work, first as a Brand Ambassador and later as a .Net Chief Software Architect (Remote for USA). In this role, they played a leadership role in a fast-paced environment, designing and delivering enterprise-class software products while also acting as a technical team leader and solution evangelist.
In 2018, Waqar founded CoSpax as CEO & Founder, and in 2019, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Rhithm. Throughout their career, Waqar has demonstrated expertise in software development, architecture, and team management.
Waqar Abdul Ghaffar completed their MS degree in Software Engineering from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University during the period of 2009-2011. Waqar also holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Sir Syed University, acquired between 2005-2008. Additionally, they obtained multiple certifications from Microsoft, including MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional and MS: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions in 2015.
