Abigail Egnatz is a prominent undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a B.S. in Information Sciences and a B.A. in Psychology, complemented by a minor in Data Science and a focus on Human-Computer Interaction. Currently serving as a Materials Management IT Intern at GE Vernova, Abigail is optimizing procurement processes and enhancing user interfaces for internal applications. In addition to this role, Abigail has extensive experience as a UX/UI Designer for App Team Carolina, where design and usability are prioritized. As the Industry Relations Director for FLUX at UNC, Abigail facilitates connections between industry leaders and students, while also contributing to research in the Emotions and Social Interactions in Relationships Lab and serving on the UNC Information Technology Executive Council. Past experiences include a User Experience Intern position at SAS and independent language instruction abroad as an Au Pair.
