Riya Modak

Riya Modak is a software engineer intern at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as of June 2024, specializing in full stack development on the JPMC Onyx team. Riya has also been an iOS developer for the App Team Carolina since September 2022, contributing to the PORCH client team. Previous experience includes a growth and product intern role at Ramped from August 2023 to March 2024 and a backend software engineer intern position at JPMorgan Chase & Co. between June and August 2023, focusing on the CB Engineering and Architecture team. Riya served as the lead product manager for the UNC Product Management Club from December 2021 to May 2023, participated in the Code For Good Hackathon at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in October 2022, and worked as a teacher for Girls Who Code from June to August 2022. Riya is pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Dramatic Art at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with an expected graduation date in 2025.
