Brad Merritt has a diverse academic background and extensive teaching experience in higher education. Currently serving as a Professor at Washington State Community College since March 1999, Brad is the advisor to Phi Theta Kappa, fostering academic excellence and personal growth among two-year college students. Previously, from August 2005 to July 2007, Brad worked as an Assistant Professor of Social Sciences at Gulf Coast Community College, instructing courses in American National Government, Western Civilization, and International Relations. Earlier in their career, Brad gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at Ohio University, where classes in American History were taught. Educational credentials include an MBA and an MA in History from Ohio University, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree with double majors in Business and History from Marietta College.
