Romain Chivot

Romain Chivot is a Frontend Developer at Choose since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Fullstack Developer at Wavy from December 2020 to October 2022. Their responsibilities at Wavy included implementing new features, improving performance, and stabilizing the application. Romain also participated in code reviews, roadmap planning, and providing feedback on features and bug fixes. Before Wavy, Romain worked at Luxemburger Wort as a Lead Developer. During their time there from March 2020 to November 2020, they coordinated a small team and developed a newspaper mobile app. Romain also created a dataviz tool for journalists, involving various data visualization techniques. Additionally, Romain had previous experience as an IT consultant at SFEIR, where they worked on maintaining and developing new features for an in-house CMS app and public website for Luxemburger Wort.

Romain Chivot's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Lycée Henri Loritz in Nancy and obtained their Baccalauréat degree in Sciences de l'ingénieur. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, they attended IUT Charlemagne in Nancy and earned a DUT Informatique degree, specializing in Informatique. Romain Chivot then pursued their studies at Faculté des Sciences in Nancy from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained a Licence degree in Informatique. Romain furthered their education at the same institution from 2011 to 2013, completing a Master en informatique degree, specializing in Informatique.
