Daren Yong

Daren Yong is an accomplished software development professional with extensive experience in various senior roles. Currently, as a Senior Software Developer at AppDirect since November 2020, Daren previously held similar positions at Osperity and Shaw Communications from February 2010 to September 2020. At Shaw, notable contributions include being a senior software architect for the launch of the High Definition Guide and managing the Video On-Demand group. Prior to Shaw, Daren served as Vice President of Software Development at Hatsize Learning Corporation and held key positions at Captaris, Avanti Computer Systems, and Reduct & Lobbe Technologies, exhibiting a strong background in software engineering, agile methodologies, and AI-based product development.
