Matthew Buhagiar

Matthew Buhagiar has worked in the IT industry since 2013. Matthew began their career as a System Administrator at CDS, where they were responsible for multiple outsourced corporate windows based infrastructure such as accounting systems and mail servers. Matthew also built a custom portable pxe/tftp server. In 2017, they worked as a QA Automation Engineer / DevOps Engineer at Product Savvy Consulting and as a Test Automation Specialist / DevOps Specialist at Angloinfo, where they built a web testing framework and a Jenkins pipeline. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a QA Automation / DevOps at TBC Bank, where they refactored a BDD mobile automation framework to a unit testing approach and built infrastructure to test on multiple virtual devices in parallel. Currently, they are employed as a DevOps Engineer at AppFollow, and previously held the same role at Explorium, where they supported new project infrastructure on Azure through IaC and aided developers to transition from serverless to kubernetes.

Matthew Buhagiar graduated from AUOL in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
