Karina Gonzalez Mph

Karina Gonzalez, MPH, currently serves as the Communicable Disease Data Management and Reporting Lead at AppHealthCare, where responsibilities include authoring Situation Reports on communicable diseases, presenting data to various audiences, and conducting epidemiological analysis. Previous roles at AppHealthCare include Team Lead for COVID-19 vaccine scheduling and K-12 school data management, along with serving as a COVID-19 Case Investigator. Karina has also contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and compiled public health data at the North Carolina Institute for Public Health. Earlier experience at Davie County Health and Human Services involved managing COVID-19 communications and implementing health promotion programs. Karina holds an MPH from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a BA in Sociology and Spanish from Salem College.
