Tal Levy

Tal Levy serves as a Senior Trader and Principal at Appian Way Energy Partners, LLC since July 2015, focusing on trading operations in NYISO, CAISO, and ISONE markets. Previously, Tal founded and acted as Managing Partner at MBTU Energy for nearly a year. Experience includes a research position at MIT from September 2012 to June 2014, concentrating on the impact of renewable power on electrical grid operations, and an Associate role at DC Energy, LLC from September 2008 to August 2012, where Tal managed a team and developed risk measurement systems. Additional positions include Research Associate at Harvard Business School and Teaching Fellow at Harvard University, along with a consultancy role at Compass Lexecon. Tal holds a Master’s degree in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brown University.
