Fartash Faghri

Fartash Faghri is a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Apple since December 2021, with a strong background in machine learning and computer vision. Previously, Fartash served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Toronto from February 2013 to November 2021, after earning a PhD in Computer Science from the same institution. Experience includes research internships at Google and various roles such as Research Scientist at Architech and Computer Vision Researcher at Slyce, focusing on visual search technology. Fartash holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and a BSc in Computer Software Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Additionally, a research exchange at TU Berlin involved work on time series similarity measurement in ubiquitous computing environments.
