Samuel Mokrani is an experienced engineering manager and tech lead at Apple, specializing in GPU software and prototyping. Since October 2013, Samuel has managed the Apple GPU prototyping team and led the GPU software transition for macOS to Apple M1 chips, demonstrating expertise in software development for both user-space and kernel drivers for iOS products. Prior to Apple, Samuel worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at ARM, contributing to the development of firmware for Cortex M microcontrollers and creating an open-source Python library for debugging and programming these devices. Samuel holds a Master's degree in Embedded Systems from Télécom Paris, complemented by an industrial placement in software engineering at ARM.
