Veronika Urbancokova

Veronika Urbancokova has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of AI and data science. Veronika started their career at Creative Web, s.r.o. as a Data Analyst for Zlava Dna, a discount company. Veronika then worked as a Data Science Consultant for the same company before transitioning into a role as a Data Scientist.

Following their time at Creative Web, s.r.o., Veronika joined Bloomreach as a Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for developing and maintaining numerous recommendation engines. Veronika focused on both rule-based and AI-based approaches, with a particular emphasis on collaborative filtering and content-based methods.

Most recently, Veronika has been working at AppLearn® as an AI Engineer in the DAP team. Their main areas of focus are the automated generation of guides using business process mining, guide recommendation, and confusion detection. Veronika utilizes various algorithms and techniques, including web page segmentation, business process mining, and element matching, to enhance the guide generation process. Additionally, they combine session-based recommendation with context-based filtering for guide recommendation.

Throughout their career, Veronika has consistently demonstrated their expertise in AI and data science, contributing to the development and improvement of various systems and processes.

Veronika Urbancokova completed their Bachelor's Degree in Informatics from the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies at Slovak University of Technology in 2016. Veronika then pursued a Master's Degree in Information Systems from the same institution from 2016 to 2018.
