John Burkhart Jr.

John Burkhart Jr. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John most recently served as the Vice President of Supply Chain Operations at Applegate starting in May 2016. Prior to this role, they held several positions at The Hershey Company, including Director of Global Operations Innovation & Sourcing, Senior Manager of Global Operations Strategy, Project Integration Manager, Manager of Supply Planning, Manager of Operations Planning, and Supply Planner. John also has experience working at Armstrong World Industries, where they served as a Production Planning & Manufacturing Supervisor and a Senior Production Planner. Additionally, they worked at CHEP as an Operations Representative.

John Burkhart, Jr. holds a Masters Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Penn State University. John also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management Sciences and Quantitative Methods from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. In addition to their degrees, John has obtained certifications as a Six Sigma Champion Certified and a Six Sigma Lean Black Belt Professional from the Management and Strategy Institute.
