Scott Smith

Scott Smith is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as President of Appliance Innovation Inc. since June 2008, Scott oversees engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing operations while developing product road maps and schedules. Prior to this role, Scott was the Director of Product Development at B&B ARMR, where responsibilities included creating anti-terrorist crash barriers and managing contract manufacturers. Earlier positions also include roles at Honeywell Video Systems and Metera Networks Incorporated, focusing on product design for the commercial closed circuit TV and metropolitan optical telecommunications markets, respectively. Scott's career began as a Development Engineer with a notable patent for interactive TV design while at AMP Incorporated. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania.
