Charles Barnes

Charles Barnes has a diverse work experience starting in 2005. Charles began their career as a Sales Associate at AB Poe Co, where they worked until 2008. From 2005 to 2009, they also served as a Camp Counselor at the Upper Palmetto YMCA/Camp Cherokee. In 2009, they transitioned to Applied Data Technologies, initially serving as a Deployment Manager until 2011. Charles then joined Senator Jim DeMint's Office as an Intern for a brief period in 2011. Finally, in 2015, Charles returned to Applied Data Technologies, this time as an Account Manager, and they are still in this role.

Charles Barnes attended the College of Charleston from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government. Charles later returned to the College of Charleston in 2015 and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2019.
