Samuel Arnold

Samuel Arnold is a GIS Analyst with a comprehensive background in geospatial analysis and data visualization. Currently employed at Applied EarthWorks, Inc. since May 2023, Samuel previously served as a GIS Analyst I at Washington College, where responsibilities included creating applications for visualizing crash data and producing monthly risk-analysis maps. Prior experience includes a role as a Next-Generation 911 GIS Specialist at Inteliquent, where interactions with law enforcement agencies facilitated the collection and analysis of data for 911 call routing. Additionally, Samuel has held positions as a GIS Lab Assistant at Dickinson College, managing lab operations and assisting with curriculum development, and as a REU Fellow at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, focusing on automated segmentation of sea turtle carapaces. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Earth Science and Archaeology from Dickinson College and has completed emergency medical training.
