Jack Yao

Jack Y. is an experienced professional in the engineering and technology sectors, currently serving as President and CFO at APPLIED ENGINEERING since March 2015. Jack has also been a Board Member at the University of California, Davis, Department of Engineering, Material Science since November 2020. Prior to these roles, Jack held significant positions at Owens Design as Director of Business Development, where responsibilities included market strategy and sales pipeline development, and at Aviza Technology as Product Manager overseeing critical product lines. Jack's earlier career includes roles as Systems Engineering Manager at ASML and System Engineering Manager at Silicon Valley Group. Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science from the University of California, Davis, and has furthered education at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
