Bill Clayton has a diverse work experience. Bill is currently working at Applied EV - Software Defined Machines™ as an Embedded Software Engineer. Prior to this role, they worked as an Embedded Software Developer at the same company.

In 2021, Bill worked as the Chief Autonomous Engineer at MUR Motorsports. Bill also had a summer internship at CSIRO's Data61 Robotics and Autonomous Systems Group, where they worked as a Summer Intern in Robotics Perception from December 2021 to February 2022.

Bill Clayton completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering at Queen Mary University of London in 2019. Bill then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronic Systems at the University of Melbourne, which they completed from 2018 to 2020. Bill obtained additional certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) from the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation in April 2017. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Mechatronics at the University of Melbourne, starting in 2021 and expected to graduate in 2022.
