Byron Payne

Byron Payne is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in electrical engineering and systems development. Currently serving as an EV Systems Engineer at Applied Fluid Power since March 2024, Byron previously held the role of Engineering Manager at ITG and Director of Product Support Development & Data Analytics at Astec Industries, Inc., where focus was on optimizing support processes through data analysis and software development. Additional experience includes positions as a Sr. Electrical Engineer and Electrical Engineer at Roadtec, and as a Program Support Engineer at Perceptics LLC, contributing to various machine designs and software implementations. Byron's educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University.
