Caryn Vorster has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Waitress at The Brasserie from November 2013 to July 2015. Caryn then worked as a Vacation Work Student at Spoormaker & Partners, where they assisted engineers in tasks such as HVAC design and project management. From March 2018 to May 2018, they worked as an Office Assistant at Hope on Hopkins, where they organized filing and standardized templates. During their gap year in 2018, they served as a Summer Camp Counselor for Girl Scouts of the USA, focusing on developing leadership and life skills in young girls. Since September 2018, Caryn has been with Applied Information Inc, initially as the Group Head of Technical and Proposal Writing and currently as the Director of Communications and Technical Writing, responsible for creating responses for qualification documents and maintaining training material for products.

Caryn Vorster's education history begins in 2009 when they attended Bergvliet High School and obtained a National Senior Certificate Level 7 in 2013. Caryn then pursued higher education at the University of Cape Town from 2014 to 2017, completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2014, they also took a Practical Training Course in Mechanical Engineering at Cape Peninsula University of Technology. In addition to their formal education, Caryn Vorster has obtained certifications in Lifeguarding, Small Craft Safety - Canoeing/Kayaking, and Waterfront Skills from the American Red Cross in June 2018.
