Kc Ong

KC Ong is Corporate Vice President and Head of Worldwide Manufacturing for semiconductor operations. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for driving the company strategy through operations teams around the world, providing leadership for Semiconductor Volume Manufacturing, New Product Introduction, Planning and Smart / Digital Operations.

Mr. Ong brings 25 years of executive experience in operations to Applied and has led Manufacturing and Supply Chai strategies and execution for factories in Asia, the Americas and Europe. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Global EMS Operations at Jabil Circuits for eight years, and he previously spent 17 years with Flextronics. His leadership in increasing the efficiency and profitability of operations contributed significantly to each company’s growth.

Mr. Ong earned a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland. He has also completed an Advanced Management Program at INSEAD and has been certified a Six Sigma Black Belt by the American Society of Quality.
