Michelle Heatherly

Michelle Heatherly has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Michelle started their career in 2015 as a Computer Science & German Peer Tutor at Wofford College, where they assisted students in computer science and German courses.

In 2016, Michelle worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Integrity Applications Incorporated, where they built code for an application and created algorithms and automation scripts for modeling and simulation.

From 2017 to 2021, Michelle worked at Centauri as a Software Engineer, developing modern web-based applications, optimizing legacy software, and integrating open-source tools for monitoring and analyzing performance.

In 2021, Michelle moved on to CACI International Inc, where they contributed to the modernization and optimization of a web-based application, adding new pages and modifying existing forms.

Finally, in 2021, Michelle joined Iron EagleX, Inc. as a Software Engineer. Here, they assisted in the migration of software applications to the cloud, led a DevOps integration team, and led a DataOps team to improve performance using data and automation tools.

Most recently, Michelle is working at Applied Microsystems as a Software Engineer since 2023.

Michelle Heatherly completed their education at Wofford College from 2013 to 2017. Michelle earned a Bachelor's degree in German and also pursued a minor in Mathematics during the same time. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Wofford College. Prior to college, they obtained a High School Diploma from St Margarets School between 2009 and 2013.

In terms of certifications, Michelle has achieved the following:

- In September 2019, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA.

- In February 2022, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.

- In February 2023, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals certification and the Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals certification, both from Microsoft.
