Jerry Hu

Jerry Hu is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in litigation and compliance. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. since February 2014, Jerry Hu has progressed through various positions including Senior Counsel and Counsel. Prior to this role, Jerry Hu worked as an Associate Attorney at Tramonte & Associates P.C., focusing on maritime and admiralty actions for oil and gas companies and their insurers. Previous experience includes representing plaintiffs in personal injury claims at Davis Law Firm and handling first-party insurance litigation at Clark, Burnett, Love & Lee, particularly related to Hurricane Ike. Jerry Hu earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from South Texas College of Law Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Political Communications from The University of Texas at Austin.
