Abu Sufian

Abu Sufian, Ph.D, presently serves as a Staff Civil Engineer I at ARA since July 2022. Prior to this role, Abu worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Idaho from October 2020 to July 2022, associated with the National Institute for Advanced Transportation Technology. From January 2017 to July 2020, Abu was a Research Assistant at the Modified Asphalt Research Center (MARC) and also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison during the same period. Earlier experience includes being a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Kansas State University from August 2014 to August 2016 and a Lecturer at Stamford University Bangladesh from August 2013 to July 2014, where responsibilities included teaching various civil engineering courses. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation Engineering) from Kansas State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
