Amanda Henke

Amanda Henke has extensive experience in the healthcare and insurance industries, particularly in roles focused on medical billing and software development. Since May 2007, Amanda has served as a Team Leader in MBR Rules and Research at Applied Underwriters, where responsibilities include leading a team to enhance system functionality, coordinating software updates, and researching state-specific Workers Compensation Medical Fee Schedules. Previously, Amanda held the position of Medical Bill Research Analyst, contributing to software design and initial deployment. Amanda's career at Applied Underwriters began as a Medical Bill Review Analyst, reviewing medical bills and verifying compliance with regulatory guidelines. Prior experience includes working as an Appeals Denials Correspondence Representative at Methodist Health System, auditing medical insurance accounts and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
