Cyrena Johnson

Cyrena Johnson has worked in the design industry since 2018. In that time, they have held various roles, including Graphic Designer Intern at Greatheart Consulting, UX Design Intern at Ben Kinney Companies, Graphic and Web Designer at Ben Kinney Companies, Web Designer at Nasco Education, UX Designer at Boston Human Factors, Inc., and UI/UX Designer at Applied Visions, Inc. In addition, Johnson has also done freelance design work, creating a portfolio website for a fellow design client using Wordpress, illustrating greeting cards, stickers, buttons, and prints, and designing logos for two independent businesses. Cyrena has also worked as a Graphic and Accessibility Design Consultant for Greatheart Consulting, creating an in-depth accessibility guide to meet ADA standards, and as a HCI Research Assistant at Western Washington University, designing and developing a dating app for neurodivergent people and the LGBTQ community.

Cyrena Johnson attended Mercer Island High School from 2011 to 2015. Cyrena then attended Bellevue College from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they started attending Western Washington University and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts - BFA in Graphic Design. Cyrena also holds a MOS Certificate from Microsoft.
