Raul Villalon

Raul Villalon is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in automation and instrumentation, with a career spanning several prominent companies in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer for Automation & Instrument at Moreld Apply since October 2021, and as a Sr. Construction Engineer E&I at Wood since January 2021, Raul's role involves overseeing instrumentation and electrical systems for the Duqm refinery project. Previous positions include senior engineering roles at Tecnicas Reunidas, Aker Solutions, and Aibel, where Raul led complex projects in refineries and offshore installations, managed automation systems, and executed detailed engineering reviews. With a background in maintenance management and extensive expertise in commissioning and start-up operations, Raul has successfully contributed to numerous high-capacity oil projects throughout a career that began at PDVSA in 1988. Raul holds a Master of Science in Maintenance Management and an Engineer's degree in Electronic, Control, and Instrumentation.
