Pavel Savinskiy

Pavel Savinskiy has over 18 years of experience in the field of design and creative operations. Pavel started their career as a Junior Web Designer at Sema.ru in 2003 and then worked as a Web Designer at IMHO VI and Vixor Workshop. In 2008, they served as an Interactive Art Director at Klanz.ru, where they were responsible for the development of a multiplayer browser-based online game website. Pavel then joined Softline Group in 2012 as a UI Designer, specializing in web design, interfaces, and mobile applications. During their time at Softline Group, they participated in over 50 internet projects and government tenders. In 2015, Pavel worked part-time as a UI and Web Designer at Softline Company, focusing on support and UI development for software selling e-commerce site Allsoft.ru.

In 2015, Pavel joined Appodeal as a UI and Web Designer. Pavel worked closely with developers, building interfaces from scratch and constantly improving them to meet client's needs. Pavel also created a fully-customizable dashboard UI with an elements library for developers. Pavel gradually progressed within the company and held various positions, including Design Team Lead and Head of Design, before being promoted to the Head of Design and Creative Operations at Appodeal Stack in 2021. In this role, they built a design department from scratch, transitioned from independent designers to teamwork, and expanded and rebuilt the approach to UI/UX tasks.

Throughout their career, Pavel has demonstrated a strong ability to create visually appealing designs and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pavel Savinskiy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Geomechanics, which they obtained from the Research Institute of Comprehensive Exploitation of Mineral Resources (IPKON) from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Specialist degree in Safety Engineering from Moscow State Mining University (MSMU) between 1999 and 2004. In addition to their formal education, Pavel also obtained several certifications, including Design-management patterns from Bang Bang Education in January 2020, UX/UI design intensive course from the British Higher School of Art and Design in July 2018, and User interface design practice from the System Analysis School in July 2014.
