Steve Maks

Steve Maks has a strong background in the field of systems engineering and security consulting. Steve started their career in 2001 as a Senior Security Consultant at VERISIGN, where they worked until 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they held the position of Senior Systems Engineer at both NetScreen Technologies and Juniper Networks. Steve then joined Oakley Networks as a Systems Engineer from 2005 to 2006. Steve continued their career as a Senior Systems Engineer at Q1 Labs from 2006 to 2008, and then at RSA The Security Division of EMC from 2008 to 2009. Steve worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Fortinet from 2009 to 2012, and then at Palo Alto Networks from 2012 to 2017. Steve's most recent position was as a Senior Systems Engineer at Netskope from 2017 to 2021. Currently, they hold the role of Senior Solution Engineer at AppOmni, which they began in June 2021.
