Niall Murray has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Niall started their career at Sun Microsystems as a Tier 1 Service Desk technician from June 2006 to August 2008, providing remote support to staff in EMEA.

After that, Niall worked at ScoLocate where they held multiple roles. From February 2012 to May 2013, they served as a Microsoft Systems Administrator responsible for system administration of internal and external client systems. Prior to that, from February 2009 to February 2012, they worked as a First Line Support Technician, monitoring IT systems and providing first point of contact for clients and internal staff.

In 2013, Niall joined Pulsant as a Level 2 Technical Support specialist from March 2013 to August 2013.

From 2013 to 2017, Niall worked at Dell SecureWorks. Niall served as a Network Security Senior Analyst from August 2013 to December 2014, and later as a Vulnerability Management Engineer from January 2015 to November 2017.

After Dell SecureWorks, Niall joined RBS as a Security Assessment Specialist from November 2017 to March 2021.

Niall then joined NatWest Group where they held two roles. Niall worked as a Security Architecture Consultant from April 2021 to August 2021, and later as a Cloud Security Lead from August 2021 to September 2022.

Currently, Niall is working at Appsbroker as a Cloud Security Consultant since September 2022.

Niall Murray attended Edinburgh Napier University from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a BEng in Computing. Niall also holds various certifications including Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)², CEH from EC-Council, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Security Engineer from Google (obtained in January 2023), Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect from Google (obtained in December 2020), CCENT Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician, CCNA Routing & Switching, and CCNA Security from Cisco. Niall also has certifications in ITIL v3 Foundation, MCTS: Configuring Windows Server 2008 Active Directory from Microsoft, and MCTS: Configuring Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure from Microsoft.
