Vinay Chilukuri

Vinay Chilukuri has worked for a variety of companies in a variety of roles. In 2022, they became the Director of Design for Appsmith. From 2020 to present, they have been the Design & Research Lead at Atlassian, where they have been responsible for envisioning the future of Atlassian Marketplace. From 2017 to 2020, they were the Product Design Lead at Flipkart, where they led the design strategy and execution for 2GUD. In 2017, they were the UX Lead and a volunteer at Isha Foundation, where they lead the UX design for Sadhguru's mobile app. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Design Team Lead and User Experience Design Specialist at KNOLSKAPE. In 2012, they were a UX Designer at Horde Software (now Able). In 2009, they were a Research Assistant at IIIT Hyderabad. In 2007, they were a Software Engineer and Intern at Novell Software in Bangalore.

Vinay Chilukuri received their Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in 2007. Vinay then went on to pursue a M.S by Research in Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science from IIIT Hyderabad, which they completed in 2011.
