Kay Sheils Kingsbury has held a variety of roles in the financial sector since 2004. From 2004 to 2005, they were a Senior Associate on the Investing Team at Fernwood Investments, where they structured loan opportunities secured by fine art and managed the financial aspects of launching the first fine art investment funds in the U.S. From 2005 to 2017, they were a Managing Director of Investment Banking at Seaport Global Holdings LLC, where they managed debt and equity raises for entrepreneur-led growth companies, sourced and led capital transactions, and advised on communications and acquisitions. From 2017 to 2018, they held roles as an Advisor at Lighter and Director of Business Development and Advisor at CircleUp. Kay then served as Chief Financial Officer at ICON3D from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they became a Partner and Managing Director at CapStream Group, where they leveraged their expertise and network of experienced advisors and entrepreneurs to serve company owners. Currently, they are an Advisor at Juno and Chief Financial Officer at Apptronik.
Kay Sheils Kingsbury earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics from Duke University. Kay then went on to receive a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Lastly, Kay earned a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development from New York University.
