Vaibhav Mathur

Vaibhav Mathur has a diverse work experience in software engineering and research. Vaibhav is currently working as a Software Engineer at Apptronik since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at New York University from September 2021 to April 2023, where they developed a novel Inverse RL method. Before that, they served as a Software Development Engineer at Zomato from March 2019 to November 2020, where they built monitoring and alerting platforms and implemented microservices architecture. Vaibhav also worked as a Software Development Engineer at HSBC from September 2017 to February 2019, where they handled trade data and automated server setups. Vaibhav has also worked as a Research Associate at IBM in 2017, where they published a research paper in COMPLEX NETWORKS 2017. Vaibhav gained valuable experience during their Summer Internship at Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in 2015, where they developed a Printer Security Background Service. Vaibhav also worked as a Backend Developer at Contyxt (Social Networking Startup) in 2015, where they implemented various modules. Vaibhav started their career as a Project Trainee at Birlasoft in 2014, where they learned SQL databases and database design.

Vaibhav Mathur completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering at New York University from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, which they attended from 2013 to 2017. Earlier in their education, they attended Delhi Public School - R.K. Puram, although the specific dates and degree obtained are unknown. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including "Fundamentals of Reinforcement Learning" from the University of Alberta in February 2021, "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera in September 2018, and "Sample-based Learning Methods" from the University of Alberta in April 2018.
