Jonathan Carter

Jonathan Carter is a seasoned legal and corporate executive with extensive experience in the music rights industry. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Legal & Corporate Services at APRA AMCOS since January 2009, Jonathan holds a key leadership role reporting to the CEO. Prior to this, Jonathan occupied senior legal positions at EMI Music Australia and Sony Music Entertainment, culminating in a Vice President role. Jonathan's foundational experience includes working as an Associate to Justice Peter Heerey at the Federal Court of Australia and as a Solicitor at Allens. Academic credentials include an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Arts also from the University of Sydney.
