Patrick Jones Ph.D., MBA

Patrick Jones has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and research. Patrick is currently working as a Principal at Flagship Pioneering and also serves as the Head of R&D Strategy at Apriori Bio. Prior to these roles, Patrick was the General Manager at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. from 2020 to 2022. Patrick began their tenure at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. as an MBA Intern in 2019.

Patrick also has a strong academic background, having worked at Sanofi Genzyme as a Senior Scientist from 2016 to 2018. Patrick held various positions at Sanofi Genzyme including Staff Scientist II from 2015 to 2016, Staff Scientist I from 2013 to 2015, and Post-Doctoral Fellow from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Patrick was a Visiting Scientist at Harvard School of Public Health from 2011 to 2016 and a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Vanderbilt University in 2011.

Patrick Jones Ph.D., MBA has a diverse education history. Patrick began their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the College of the Holy Cross, which they completed from 2002 to 2006. Following this, Patrick pursued further education and attained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Genetics and Pharmacology from Vanderbilt University, which they diligently pursued from 2006 to 2011. Building upon their scientific background, Patrick then decided to expand their skill set by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, which they successfully completed between 2018 and 2020. With these various educational accomplishments, Patrick has gained a wide range of knowledge spanning biology, molecular genetics, pharmacology, and business administration.
