Raj Malkani

Raj Malkani has over 40 years of work experience in finance and management roles. Raj started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Transport for London in 1977. Raj then worked as a Studio Manager, Recording Engineer, and Bookkeeper at FJR Studios, transitioning them to a computerized accounting system. Raj later joined Production House Records, FJR Productions, and FJR Music as a Finance Director, overseeing financial strategy and funding. Raj also had various roles within the company, such as Legal & Business Affairs/Operations and Record Producer/Songwriter/Arranger/Recording Engineer/Remixer. From 2001 to 2019, Raj served as a Financial Controller at Soundnet/TouchTunes, managing financial policies, due diligence processes, and risk management. Recently, they have held the position of Head of Finance at Apt Works Limited and Lickd Limited, where they have been involved in strategic development, financial reporting, budgeting, and managing cash flow.

Raj Malkani completed the CIMA degree in Management Accountancy from BPP Professional Education London / FBT Birmingham between 2003 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Business Administration and Management, General (ICSA) from the Polytechnic of Central London in 1982-1983. Raj'seducation began with a BEC National Certificate in Business Studies from the Polytechnic of North West London, which they received from 1979 to 1981.
