Miguel Gernaey is a seasoned marketing executive with extensive experience in digital and demand marketing. Currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Aptean since August 2023, Miguel previously held the role of Executive Vice President of Digital and Demand Marketing at Sage from October 2015 to August 2023, where Miguel successfully devised a global digital strategy that quadrupled revenue from digital channels and significantly improved customer experience. Prior to Sage, Miguel contributed to Dell in various leadership roles, including Director of the EMEA Demand Centre, where Miguel developed innovative marketing strategies that substantially increased the company's business pipeline. Miguel's career also includes significant positions at Accenture, PA Consulting Group, Price Waterhouse Management Consultants, and IMPAC Productivity Specialists, where Miguel honed skills in business strategy, project management, and performance improvement. Miguel holds degrees in Economics and Marketing from EHSAL and Accounting from PIHO Ghent.
