Katelyn Muir Carrell

Director, Population Health and Research at aptihealth

Katelyn Muir Carrell has been working in the field of healthcare since 2008. Katelyn began their career as a Skills Worker at NFI North, Inc. in 2008. In 2010, they joined ICF as a Research Associate Project Manager, where they managed projects for long-term research studies in pursuit of public health improvement best practices. In 2015, they moved to OneCare Vermont as Manager Analytics, where they led high functioning Analytics teams responsible for data processing, data warehouse architecture and advanced analytical insights to support high-impact healthcare projects. In this role, they also managed 10 full time employees across disciplines in addition to contracts, deliverables and improved solutions for a statewide organization. Katelyn also held the roles of Supervisor Population Health Analytics, Data Quality Specialist, and Senior Information Analyst. In 2021, they joined aptihealth as Director, Population Health and Research.

Katelyn Muir Carrell earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Environmental Studies from Siena College between 2003 and 2007. Katelyn then went on to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) at New York University from 2012 to 2014. In 2019, they obtained their Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. In 2020, they obtained a Project Management Professional Certificate from The University of Vermont Continuing and Distance Education, as well as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification from the National Association for Healthcare Quality. Katelyn also holds a UNAX Certification.
