Patricia Mata, LMSW has been working in the social work field since 2006. Patricia began their career as a Case Manager/Team Leader at Narco Freedom Inc., where they supervised a team of Case Technicians and Community Follow Up workers and conducted weekly supervision meetings to discuss client's cases and service plans goals. In 2009, they took on the role of Senior Case Manager at Housing and Services, Inc. (HSI), providing case management service to the formerly homeless, mentally ill and substance abuse clients in a supportive housing facility. In 2014, they joined Mount Sinai Health System as a Mount Sinai Health Partners Social Worker, where they conducted assessments to determine high risk patients and followed up with overall care post discharge in the community. Currently, they are working as a Behavioral Health Specialist at aptihealth.

Patricia Mata, LMSW has a diverse educational background. Patricia obtained their High School Diploma from Murry Bergtraum High School for Business Careers in 2002, where they studied Tourism and Travel Services Management. Patricia then went on to receive their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Baruch College in 2006. In 2010, they earned their Master's in Social Work from New York University, specializing in Clinical/Medical Social Work. In 2015, they obtained a Master Social Worker and Clinical Social Worker certification from the New York State Education Department.
