Janet guides business strategy planning and execution supports successful transition of science and technology (S&T) research programs and leads Aptima’s Orlando operations. Under her leadership, in 2021 Aptima’s Orlando office was named a “Best Place to Work” by the Orlando Business Journal. Janet is a dynamic, results-oriented executive with experience building robust opportunity pipelines and executing government programs by fostering trusted client relationships and expertly managing the delivery of services. She brings to Aptima more than 28 years of experience in growing and leading modeling, simulation, training (MS&T), and organizational development programs across the Department of Defense, Intelligence, Federal, and Commercial sectors. Janet has deep expertise as a human performance technologist and serves as a strategic advisor to federal and defense clients on implementing AI-based adaptive learning and competency management solutions.
Janet is currently serving her second term as part of the Executive Committee for The National Center for Simulation (NCS) Board of Directors. For NCS, she also chairs the Technology Transfer and Transition Committee, which assists members in moving R&D efforts through the “valley of death” to transition into acquisition programs and to transfer technology to other sectors or vertical markets. Janet also serves as the Scholarship Chair for the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference (I/ITSEC), where she previously served as Conference Chair.
