Narayan Purohit

Narayan Purohit has over 40 years of experience in product management, marketing, and business development within the semiconductor industry. As Product Line Manager for the Automotive Image Sensor Division at ON Semiconductor since February 2009, Purohit has successfully managed a business exceeding $300 million annually, increasing market share to over 45%. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Marketing at Cypress and Mitsubishi Electric, where responsibilities encompassed strategic marketing, customer design wins, and revenue generation in diverse segments such as computing and telecommunications. Purohit's career began at IBM as a Design Engineer, followed by roles at CMD Corp, Samsung Semiconductor, Performance Semiconductor, and Hitachi, contributing to the development and marketing of various memory products. Purohit holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University, specializing in Solid State Physics and VLSI Design.
